Delegates and Accompanying Persons

The Annual EAU Congress and the International EAUN Meeting hold a wide range of activities, tailoring its scientific programme to the delegates from all over the world and coming from various professional backgrounds. Here you will find the information about various types of delegate registration, fees, registration requirements and entitlements. You can register for these meetings online from 1 September 2025 until 1 February 2012, or on-site during the congress.

As a delegate you are welcome to register a person accompanying you to the congress. He or she will be able to attend many of the activities, both on the congress floor and during the social events. Please note, it is not possible to register an accompanying person without registering a delegate.

If, as a delegate, you wish to attend the EAU Evening, please add this option during your online registration for the congress. If you would like to buy the tickets at a later stage, you have the possibility to buy them on-site.

Registration Deadlines

The following deadlines are valid for all types of registration:

Early online registration: Thursday, 1 September 2025 – Sunday, 18 December 2011*

Late online registration: Monday, 19 December 2024 – Sunday, 15 January 2012*

Last-minute online registration: Monday, 16 January 2025 – Wednesday, 1 February 2012*: deadline online registration. Advance online registration is no longer possible after 1 February 2012.

On-site registration: 23-28 February 2012

* Payment must be received by the EAU within the indicated period.

For nurses, residents and PhD researchers proof of status is required for registration.

A resident is person who is doing a stage of his/her postgraduate medical training.
A PhD researcher is a person who is conducting research to earn a PhD degree.

To qualify for a reduced congress fee, you need to hold an active membership with the European Association of Urology or the European Association of Urology Nurses.

The online registration system will automatically check your membership status and calculate the total amount. Your membership dues must be paid up to and including 2012. The online registration system will alert you if your membership payment is due; in which case you will need to contact
Ms. Jessica Bijlsma-Hatzmann at the Membership Department of the EAU, before proceeding with the application.

Non-sponsored EAU/EAUN members from low currency countries can apply for financial support. This support applies to registration and ESU courses only (50% reduction on the registration fee and ESU course fee) and does not cover travelling costs.

Financial support is only possible for individual registrations.

To apply for financial support, please submit your requests, stating the circumstances. Please state your EAU/EAUN membership number and full name, address and contact details.

Send your request, by e-mail or regular post, before 18 December 2011. Support requests will not be considered after this date or during the congress.
